Important information

Dear fellow members of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS),

As we enter the new year, we are pleased to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. May 2024 be our best year yet, filled with health, joy, success, and prosperity.

After twenty years as part of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the ISRS is now once again an independent, non-profit scientific medical organization.

We cordially invite you to register on the new ISRS website, which has been launched to provide our members with an enhanced online experience:

Our mission is to promote and stimulate excellence in Refractive Surgery and to collaborate with every national and supranational Refractive Surgery organization. We look forward to more collaboration with you in this new chapter of the ISRS.

As an independent organization, we add many other positive “I” s that describe our core values besides international and independent: Integration, Integrity, Innovation, Impact, Inclusivity, Inspiration, Initiative, Imagination, Improvement, Interconnectedness, Investment, Intuition, Idealism, Insight, and Influence.

Your registration is essential so that you have access to all online content, including the Journal of Refractive Surgery. Also, your information will be listed in an advanced search: Find a Refractive Surgeon.

Again, it is important that you register on our new website www.isrs.online. We believe that together, we can achieve great things and make a meaningful impact on the future of Refractive Surgery to serve our patients best.

Thank you for your continued support. Happy 2024!
