Dr. Lycia Maria Martins Pinho Pedral Sampaio is an ophthalmology resident and cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery fellow at the Sorocaba Eye Bank and Hospital (BOS) in São Paulo, Brazil. She is also a postdoctoral research fellow for cornea and refractive surgery at the Cole Eye Institute, Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She is a PhD candidate at the University of São Paulo (USP) in São Paulo and a researcher at Refractive RiO (Research in Ophthalmology) Group as well as a cornea and cataract attending at Sorocaba Eye Bank and Hospital in São Paulo.
