George Kymionis is an internationally recognized ophthalmic surgeon. He is a graduate of Athens University Medical School and completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. He has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters with more than 5000 citations. He has been principal investigator of more than 50 clinical studies of ophthalmic devices, medications and surgical techniques and he also holds several patents for ophthalmic devices. He is currently Associated Professor at the University of Athens and voluntary assistant Professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami.
